Minnie's Flock​

Hi!
I'm Silkie-Guinz and We have right now, 2 Guineas, that are about 5 weeks old and both pearls..We had at first 9, but we had to find 7 of them new homes.

Then we have 9 more Guineas that are getting close to about 2 weeks, I think. They are 5 pied pearls, 3 pearls, and 1 lavender. We hatched the 9 guineas from eggs. We had 14 eggs, 9 hatched.
Then we have 6 Silkies, 2 blacks, 2 blues, and 2 splash. They are about 5 or 6 weeks old now.
We have our youngest bunch, 4 silkies and 2 showgirls. The silkies colors are, two reds, two partridge. And the showgirls, one is a black, the other... we really don't know the name of the color. But that one's color is a chocolate-brown color. Very pretty.
And last but not least, we have our one older buff silkie chick,Tweety, is loud when he wants to be,curious, and pecks at everything, including your fingers. haha.

We did have Minnie, another buff silkie that was very attached to Tweety. She had two broken legs, and coccidosis. She died 8/5/11, from coccidosis most likely. She was the best chick we have ever had, and was the sweetest. She will be forever missed. But she has a chick named after her, and we named our whole flock of chickens and guineas Minnie's Flock after her.
We love all our birds.

We are just getting started in them. We've never had chickens before, so this is a whole new experience for us.
