I have the golden laced "Goldie" is her name, sweet bird, not to skittish. she will allow you to come close to feed her from your hand run if she thinks your going to pick her up. We got her as a teenager so don't think she was held for long, but might have been hand feed when she was a chick.

I have a golden laced. "Goldie" is her name. We've only had her about 2 weeks now. She is very sweet, she's just getting her comb in. She will allow you to feed her from your hand but will not let you pick her up without a fight.
