I built this chicken coop in the last couple of weeks. We will be getting rhode island red pullets this weekend 4/6/12 it will be our first time trying to raise some chickens and hopefully get some eggs. I took ideas from other coops on this site and mixed them up to get this design. And i must say that i'm happy with it in the end. We live in Rhode island so i'm hoping this design will be both cool in summer and warm in winter.I have a few other vents on the other side which will help in summer

the girls check out the new place I think they like it. Their names are Henrietta,Harriot,Heidi,Helen,and Cluck!

Here's a sign I made with blackboard spray paint, now the kids can write different things. only 5 bucks for paint. oh and Heidi sitting on top.






I added this chicken to the front , i drew it on scrap wood then used my jigsaw to cut it, came out pretty good! lol




We added a little front yard for the girls.
