COOP PICTURES

Welcome to the pictures of our chicken coop! It is 8' X 10' and we built it specifically for our 5 little girls! We didn't have any plans or anything so we sort of just guessed how it should have been. I've added a really extensive page to my BYC homepage describing how we built this thing! Please look at it if you have any questions!
There are somethings that I would change about this coop now - for example, I would have made the nesting boxes a bit lower for our silkie, and I would have attached the chicken wire to the outside instead of the inside. Similarly, I would have used hardware cloth instead of chicken wire, and would have attached it with something stronger than staples. Ah well, you live and you learn right?
