Thanks All! Eg-Head I did paint it red a few hours before you posted that but it turns out it was not the right red so I am going a little darker with Semi Gloss tomorrow (I will post a pic)!!! Sunnyvera It was not simple at all but like you said the guys who built it made it seem simple. You can not tell but there is a little step down from the actual coop because of the terreain decline and the height inside the chicken run is 6 feet tall ( front of the coop is 10 feet tall). I am on the shorter side so it works well for me. I am soo excited and chickens just keep seem to show up out of nowhere!?!?!?!????

It looks beautiful. It seems deceptively simple to make, but very detailed. Do you have to bend over when you clean out the run? I would love the large windows in my coop.
