    Are Chickens Allowed in this location There’s no city code for having chickens, they are allowed.
    Max Chickens Allowed No city code on amount of chickens.
    Roosters AllowedThere’s no city code for having roasters, they are allowed.
    Permit RequiredThere’s no permit required for the city of Cooper City.
    Coop RestrictionsFor a Chicken Coop please contact the City of Cooper City Building Department for permit requirements, structural, zoning, and size instructions 954-434-4300 Extension 230.

    The city does have a Noise Ordinance chapter ten of the code in reference to animals 10-6(5).

    Chapter six of the city code Maintenance Standards 6-40(b) (nuisances).
