This is one of those projects, that started out simple, and grew more elaborate. My husband and brother-in-law designed and built this coop in a week. It's more than I asked for, and I love it.
It's 8X10 raised floor, totally inclosed, and vented. There's an egg laying box in the back, where I can collect eggs with out going inside. The yard has heavy stock wire, as we worry about racoons. The roof of the yard can be lifted, to allow for easier clean up.
We live just north of Coupville on Whidbey Island, so the name is a nod to them.
