My name is Donna, I live in the foothills of the Cascades in Granite Falls WA. I have raised mostly Barred Rock and Rhode Is. Red chickens until the last year. Then I acquired the EE's...which I LOVE! I have some other breeds as well but my purpose is for egg laying. I recently got into bantams, they are so much fun and their eggs are awesome. I am married to a great bird guy and together we also raise pheasants. At this moment in time we have the ringneck, melanistic blacks, blue eared, silver,yellow golden, red golden, Elliots, Impeyans and Lady Amherst. Between all my birds they are incredibly spoiled! I run a daycare out of my home and have for 25 years. (actually can't wait till I don't do it anymore!) I am mom to 3 (27,21 and 19) and a grandma to a 5 year old. I have been silently gleaning info from this website for a few years and decided to become a real member!
