We currently own 6 Mallards, we think they were about 1 week when we received them. We really had no intentions of purchasing ducklings, however, we were at a rabies clinic at our local farm store and decided to walk in to see the animals. Because the ducklings were "stinky" the feed store was giving away the ducklings to anyone who would take them - we took 6! If they were one week when we brought them home, they are about 2/3 weeks now.

The most recent picture, outside on April 11, 2010. The chihuahua, Lucy, is in the background "guarding" the ducklings from the other dogs, and anyone who comes around in general.

We were given 2 chicken runs/tractors (1 is pictured) so we are using them for the ducklings to be able to get outside instead of staying in their current home, a rubbermaid container.
Future plans: We have a 1 ½ acre fenced in pond (might be more, I'll have to ask I think it's double that size). There is currently an old shed inside, which we plan to put a small duck coop in (3' x 6'). We will use the coop to put our ducks into over night, because we also use the lot at night for our treeing walker coonhounds.
