Egg Custard Pie

    4 eggs
    3/4-1 c. sugar (to taste)
    2-1/2 c. canned cream
    pinch salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 tbsp butter
    1 pie shell

    Cooking Instructions

    Pre-heat oven to 400°. Mix all ingredients together and pour into pie shell. Put pie in oven and reduce oven to 300°. Bake until set. Test with table knife, if it comes out clean, then it's done.
