This is Flash, his son Lightening and his ladies. They are Porcelain sablepoots.
Unfortunately his owner passed away and it was a while before they were rescued. They were kept in hutches in a barn and for sometime no-one knew they were even there.

By the time they came to live with us they were very sad and in a sorry state. Their toe nails were so long and their little feet were so very sore.

Four months on and their story has become a happy one. Flash has come out of his shell and is much more confident. He is considerate with his girls and gracious with his son.

I am about to put some of their eggs in the incubator. I cannot wait to see what the fuzzies will look like I have a black and white Poland who is in love with Flash and kept flying into his pen. After a few days of putting her back I decided to let her stay so their chicks will be interesting too !
