This is how it all started.
About a year ago, my brother and I were at the local feed store buying horse feed. I looked over and saw this beautiful chicken, I had never had an interest in chickens. When I got home I did some research and discovered all kinds of different breeds. I never knew there were so many beautiful breeds of chickens.
As we started buying different types of chickens I learned a lot about them. We also collected many breeds such as Barred Plymouth Rocks, Columbian Plymouth Rock, Orphingtons, Leghorns, Frizzles, Silkies, Easter Eggers, and Sexlinks. Well my brother and I are in 4-H and we decided to show our poultry in the Citrus County Fair. We won several trophies and received many blue ribbons. We have learned a lot, and we also have major fun with or chickens.
