    Start a petition and take it to the Council. My daughter is starting to do this for her town. I'm not in town, but I'd be glad to help work to that end. Hey, if it's legal in the City of Chicago, why not Fort Wayne? It looks like though, from the above posting, that it is permitted in the Fort Wayne city limits, but subject to certain permits,restrictions and regulations. I've never personally checked it out.

    I would just like Fort Wayne In. to chance there city restrictions on having and raising chickens in town, It simply is not allowed.
    I would like to have just 2-3 chickens for fresh eggs, is this to much to ask?
