My brother got Funky as a chick Easter of 2011. He was a mystery chick, because my parents got him from the back of a truck loaded with brown, and pink chicks. Funky was brown. When ever we were home he was out with us, sitting in a box with a sock in it, or being held. About a week or 2 after getting Funky my brother let me have him ( he just wasn't willing to change the newspaper every day lol ). I got some chicks to keep him company. I ended up getting silkies because everywhere I read said they were friendly. Funky was glad to have some new friends.
Fast forward to the present. Funky is the friendliest of all my chickens. The silkies want NOTHING to do with me. He loves to dust bath. Grapes are his favorite treat. When I was home sick one day he escaped, and came around to my bed room window and started crowing, I have no clue how he knew I was in that room, or even home.
