I would like to introduce our Barred Rock flock here in north Florida's Big Bend area.
Col. Pickett and his Woods Creek chicks, Vivian (avatar), Birdie, Dorie, Penny, Amelia, Wilma, Baby girl, Betty, Daisy, Mz.Green and GoGo.
Don't have pics of all the girls yet (some are camera shy). All 12 live on Woods Creek here in Taylor Co. We built a airy Florida sleeping porch type coop that is 4 x 8 x 8 with a 8 x 16 run. I chose Barred Rocks because I liked what I researched about thier personalities and hardiness. My flock are a feed store purchase, but they are the happiest healthiest chickens I've ever seen and very pretty too!
