Tips to raising a backyard flock of chickens

BROODIES!
_________________________________________________HERE ARE MY TIPS, FROM EXPERIENCE
My experiences with broodies did not go well at first... So here are some of my tips to have a excessful broody.
1st ) Seperate her from the flock, So she can have her own personal area to eat drink,and be away from the flock!
because of the following reasons
- the other hens will go on top of her and lay eggs! so you will have a bunch of eggs in different development stages!
- the others hens might push her out of the box, and take her eggs
- The broody might get up to eat and drink and end up getting in the wrong box ( I here Sooo many stories of this happening)!
Don't Candle a lot!
( sometimes with broodies they end up quiting in the incubation process (alway handy to have a incubator if this happens!)
(Some broodies are awesome at brooding on the eggs but end up being horrible mothers! *killing chicks*

note: Hatchery hens are not known to go broody because its bred out of the (*but still possible*)
