*EDIT*

I am currently working on an update on our actual farm. Things have been hectic with the move and I never got to post anything.

WE did not get the house but I am leaving this here for memories sake :). He has told us that if we want to we might be able to buy it in three years but I am not holding my breath. we will own one day but for now we found an amazing farm that we are renting and living out our dream while working on our credit

We so far have been told that we are getting the house but have to wait till April as he wants to keep his son in the house over winter as its right next to the woodlot he works on. So we are slowly making plans for what we are going to do.

Here is the shed I have to work with for now :). That is my husband and my mother by the way. Now we have our work cut out for us. the walls are tough but the inside is filled with junk and scrap wood and there's a huge hole in the floor. So suggestions on how to fix the floor and how to predator proof this shed would greatly help. I'm debating whether to use it JUST for chickens and maybe ducks and such(Poultry) or maybe divide it in half and have one or two goats in the other half. And again I'm torn on whether to completely free range them(Id be putting up a six foot fence around the property near the house for goats) or to build a run.

and to share. here are some photos of part of the land we are getting. we are getting in total 23.5 acres. 3.5 come with the house and he is selling us the extra 20 off connecting land he owns around the house. 10 will be farm fields and 10 will be woodlot.

My hopefully little piece of heaven :)

Old apple tree. Apples are nice and sweet :)

second apple tree right next to the house

Suggestions definitely welcome. I have four months to suffer and wait XD And then my husband gets to move over there while I move in with my best friend so I can keep my job until 1. I get my full license so I can commute or 2. I get accepted into the work at home program(I work from a call center) or 3. I can get a job at one of the places near where I live which are a winery. feed store, goat cheese farm etc. Would be a dream but those places rarely hire!
