Hattie

hello! here is a page on my beloved rooster Hats. I am sorry it is so short!
Put it this way, my white crested black polish rooster is my side--chick. He is a wonderful roo with a unique personality! he is passive,a bit skitish, but the good things overpower the bad. He is also loveable, cute, cuddly, comes to my call, and is very humorous! (a little jokester!) I remember the day i first got him. It seems like so long ago. I bought him at western farm center here in California. He was unlike any other chick. Ever since he was young, he has loved peanut butter. I would give my flock leftovers of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and Hats would try to peck the peanut butter out without touching the jelly.i had named him Hattie, as i thought he was female. As he grew, he still (and does to this day) acted like a smart, sweet hen. When he first crowed, i wasn't suprised. He had early wattle development and saddle feathers. I renamed him Hats, but sometimes i still call him Hattie. Lately, i have been trimming his long hair and putting it into pigtails. Sometimes i trim his hair into a mullet. Here is Hats...
