Hen Hideout

I saw this on BYC. This coop is exceptional!!
I would enjoy making one as well. Do you have detailed plans & material lists? How do I contact you?
Thanks for “ALL” the updates “That” was also a selling point!!

I stumbled upon this looking to find some ideas for a coop I’m going to build . I only have one ( rescue) chicken . She’s all personality and she runs the show around here ! Absolutely loved your commentary! Hope your crew is still in tact! Thank you for making me laugh !
Love it! Ran onto this looking for tractor ideas, definitely like the wheels. The updates were not only helpful but fun hour you continue to update. Be blessed
I am not sure how to send a PM? But would be interested in the plans if you don't mind. Thanks so much!
My husband and I have been reviewing chicken tractor designs for ages (okay a month and a half, but I am impatient!), and this was the best thought out plan we've seen. Thank you for sharing.

With wood being so expensive, someone suggested PVC. I just joined the website and am new to wanting chickens for eggs and meat. I’m a single mama with limited tools.
Absolutely excellent. Makes so much sense. Obviously designed and tweeked by someone who knows how to tend chickens. That makes you “chicken tenders” of the first order.

A solid, time-proven design. Having the regular updates is wonderful to really show what does/doesn't work. The only reason I can't give you a 5-star is that the plans aren't included in the article (though I think there are enough photos that many people could duplicated it anyway).
Love the creativity!
So admire your ingenuity and creativity! Also, I am very appreciative of your updates! Thank you. I will most definitely be making use of your simple and effective greens dispenser!
I will be using many ideas from this article for my next tractor. I always built way to heavy. I like the wheel system
This is a good article! I love all the pictures, too! But, one thing, you don't have to spend $400 or $500. Mine only costed $100-$200. Otherwise, its a good article.
Great mobile coop tractor! And also good job on the newer more permanent coops.
Literally, after reading this article, I was in shock.
This was such an amazing idea, and the coop definitely looks secure and just simply awesome.
I'll definitely follow this guide!!!
Yup, I LOVE the wheels system and watching you push it with just one finger... AMAZING!!!

:thumbsup
THaaTS so cool! I want a coop like that.
Well done, and well presented. Love the details and pictures. Should last a long time. I especially liked some of your innovations for watering and treat presentation.
Great info - love the included detail/video about the wheels!
