    We bought our base coop for $40, the used kennel was $40 and the window came from a door and window store. It was a floor sample and it was $20. We did our best to re-purpose as much material as possible and still keep our girls secure.

    Thank you! It took some blood sweat and tears but it was a lot of fun and our four girls seem very happy! Of course you always find things you will do different next time, like make it movable. We have added some frills to the run like two outdoor roosts and a place for a sand bath and a suet feeder for giving treats. I have added some flowers to the outside and a few metal signs hanging on the chainlink fence.
