so the other day a Child saved a hen from a dog. The little girl was 8 and very proud to have saved the bird. Unfortunately her father was convinced it would die and refused to let her keep it.
Her neighbor is a friend of mine and she knows I have a happy little flock. So of course I said I’d take her and see what happens! She was not happy at first but after a saline rinse for her bites, and a nice warm shower and blow dry. She was feelin good. I put her out today for the first time unsupervised. She went right to the chick enclosure and just chilled with them. She’s sitting guard over them as I type. Sooo cute. Love you Lucky!
