We live in Northern CA and are surrounded by chicken farms. We didn't want to be left out so we just had to get some ladies of our own. We just started our little chicken flock of 4 in March, 2011. Our girls consist of a Black Sexlink, a Welsummer, a Ameraucana and a Brown Leghorn.
A chicken ark seemed the best design for what we wanted. It's small, portable and well suited to the few girls we planned on getting. We also wanted a full run, so having the nesting boxes and roost above sounded great.
