I am a urban farmer in Dayton Ohio. I can see downtown Dayton from my front porch. I always wanted a mini-farm. just never thought I would have it in the city. This is my chicken story ! [IMG] These are my chick's! I started with twenty mix breeds, girls and two boys. I lose both of my boys and two of my girls![IMG] Now to build them a safe and attractive home! . [IMG] The location is chosen. [IMG] Not sure if this is a medium or large coop?[IMG]

Might try to cross so that the Barnevelder's egg can become darker!

I have doubled wire the bottom, plus buried it a foot in the ground! I going to line the inside with garden fencing also. The run is top with deer netting and the back run with wire. Thanks for you comments!! Doggietopia Urban Farms!

Nice coop! I love the door, and it's great for letting light in in the winter. I will be using a similar one in mine (winged woods on wheels), ( actually two, one on each side, with screen doors inside for summer ventilation)
    That color is perfect! ;~>
Are those old MGTD wheels? Nice touch! Just a small suggestion, but keep an eye on the chicken wire at the bottom, sometimes predators can get through that stuff. Maybe add some 1/4 or 1/2" hardware cloth?
Looking at Your coop makes me smile, what a neat job you did!

Wow, awesome coop! How much of your yard does that take up? Hahaha that is the biggest chicken coop I've seen someone have in a city.
