Great start! A picture of the finished coop, more build details, and a list of materials used would improve this article.
Well, I hope you have made more progress since 2009!!:lau
I'm guessing life got even busier when your 2nd child arrived or else the city found out you had chickens and made you get rid of them :idunno.
Anyway, you have a good start on your coop build, but you never came back to document the completion of the coop.
If you do have time to come back and update this, we would obviously like to see what else you did to complete it; an estimation of cost; things that you would do differently if you were to build it again; and more pictures including what the inside looks like when it was completed.
Also, how many birds you house in there.
One more thing, it looks like the screen you put in on the back wall is just covered with window screen. You should remove that screen and cover it with hardware cloth/ welded wire mesh. The window screen will not keep predators out (neither will chicken wire, despite it's name).
The pictures are really showing how you put it together. :D good job wish you'd gotten around to finishing it.
Where is the finished coop?
