I starter with 8 chicks. 2 Silver Laced Wyandottes, 2 White Sultans, 2 Buff Cochins, and 2 that I completely forget their breed. We lost the 2 unknowns within the first 3 days, and one of the cochins a weeks later. I had to rehome the SLWs as one was a roo and I rehomed the Sultan roo...I really wish I hadn't, now that I look back. So that leaves one lonely Sultan. Well, we added a Golden Laced Sebright, a black cochin, a Golden Laced cochin and recently added 2 lavender Ameraucanas and a patridge Silkie..I think that makes 7 ?????
Here are the babies at about a few days old:
I have been learning so much over tha past year on BYC. I am even at the point of hunting down a Black Sultan roo that was pictured by a photographer. He is looking into his files for owner. Gotta love this age of information. A few clicks and an email and we are on the hunt.
