I have a 5 month old roo who is limping, favoring his right leg. I noticed it at first because he was standing still with his tail feathers pointing down, not up all tight and proud as usual. Then he took a couple of steps and was limping. I picked him up to check the leg with range of motion, and to see if it was swollen, hot, broken or anything. I found no external physical reason for the lameness (nothing in his foot either). I am wondering if it is something in his back with the tail feathers being held low. I remember seeing him walk kinda weird the other day but seemed to be fine afterwards. I have isolated him from the othersĀ  for now to see if it helps.
