i have kept the muscovy ducks for a year now.I keep them for eggs and sale of the birds
the mamma birds have hatched 15of them .They mostly feed on forages in the hot seasons and i feed them with growers and after 3 months i change to layers.how ever clean water is required and a pond atleast 4ft. deep for them to swim. they like sleeping up because they feel safe there up.
the adults are known by carruncles (the red stuff).in females it turns from bright to dark orange when bloody althrough raising chicks to keep the male away.they dont require much space so its easy to rare them.
