Yeah see, I’m having an issue in Lincoln County myself. I live in Lincoln County. My neighbor lives in catawba county. One of my hens clucked across the invisible property line by about 2 feet, doing what chickens do, eating bugs, And my neighbor went ballistic. Said he was going to kill my chickens next time they stepped one toe in his yard. But, now, it’s ok for his pit bull to come barging over every time I step out the door, barking her head off. So, no more free-ranging for my hens. They wasn’t hurting anything :(

I live in Lincolnton, NC in the county but I just called to verify this because my neighbors across the street are in city limits. County residents may have chickens and other livestock with no restrictions, but city residents are not allowed any poultry, etc.
