Stories
@Chickenchick11 My grandma once had 2 parakeets, a male and a female. Their names were Doug and Sharon. They hatched out 2 babys, also a male and a female. ( My sister and me got to name them.) We named them Heart and George. George had a crossed beak. I remember George was never very tame and we used to have a heck if a time trying to trim his beak. He would try to bite us.( He never bit us good because of his beak.) We had to trim his beak every 4-6 weeks. But he lived a good life. He died last year at a healthy old parakeet age of 8. Just goes to show (like you said) that even if your bird has some disabilities you can sometimes make sure they live out their lives with a little bit of help from humans.
