Cool good luck with your quail.
Just picked up two quail hens for my little quail male. He is in love with them, the girls don't quite know yet. I will let you know when they start laying.
You are welcome Yay! I spelled it right this time!
I did get the turner for it.
I will look at brooding quail and at the heating pad.
Thank you very much.
If it does not have auto turn, do it at least 3x daily. That is when I have had best results. I have one quail left out of my four. Make sure the brooder box you have them in has high enough sides so it will not jump out. I also recommend using a heat pad instead of a brooder, as you can keep them inside. This may not be acceptable for your family, but if it is, it works best, as quail are VERY finicky.
Thanks, my incubator came today so I will play around with the settings and as soon as I figure it out I will order some eggs.
Oh and I think I spelled something wrong in my last comment too: Exited? Excited?
You are welsome! I hope you have better luck with you quail next time :
