    Hi Everyone,
First let me say thank you to all those who helped in the coop design, the picking of chicks, the how to's and what to's. BYC is the greatest!
So I hope you all enjoy this page, we are a bit noob at this.
    Day 01

This is the basic layout. 4' x 8' with a 4' high back and 5' high front. I kinda goofed on the roof framing, later this will be fixed. As well added more framing on sides and top for a bit stronger coop.
    Day 02

Finished most of the coop, still have to fix roof, and cut a few windows for ventilation (and ideas?) Also added a 8' x 16' run which is 8' high. Have not added all the wire yet, but will next weekend. As well plan to add 1/3 with clear
roofing so they have a nice area in case of snow and rain.
    Our Peep's Arrived! (Feb. 21, 2011)

A terrible photo, but they were all over the place and the red light (for heat) was playing hard on the camera. But we received 26 birds in all fro mMcMurray Hatchery. 1 was DOA and 2 others are barely hanging on. We ordered 23 female Buff Orp. and 2 male Buff Orp. 1 one black/tan
is the mystery peep, not sure what he is yet?

Pretty friendly little guys, at first they all huddled up when we came in, but 5 minutes hanging with them they move back and forth in thier new temp home.

Our little Taylor found a new little friend. The "rare bird" already has a new name, Fancy Pants.
We hope you enjoyed the photos, and promise to update as much as possible.
