Mink - Chicken Predators - How To Protect Your Chickens From Mink

We found that 2 of our 3 chicks were gone. Feathers and meat at the few 1" holes in the dog cage coop remained. The 3rd chick was still present but had to be put down due to life threatening injuries underneath her chest, wings and rear end. Our 5 bigger chickens are 17 weeks and in a more secure cage, but we'll set a trap this evening. We're in Southeast Louisiana, between Baton Rouge and New Orleans.

I didn't know they they could squeeze through a 1 inch hole! Yikes!
