Minorca Black Created by lindabean Breed Information, Comments, and Experience with breed: This is Queenie. She is about 6 months old and I just bought her about a month ago. The day after she came with me, she presented me with a nice sized white egg! Although she is not the most friendly hen, nothing much seems to upset her. Over this past month I have been getting 3 to 4 eggs a week from her. I read that this breed does well in hot weather, but their large comb is subject to frostbite. I think she will be a great South Texas girl! |
