Additional InformationChapter 90.15 states regarding KEEPING OF LIVESTOCK WITHIN 200 FEET OF RESIDENCES: In the public interest of health, welfare, and sanitary conditions it shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to keep or harbor any livestock, fowl, and animals, within the corporate limits of the city within 200 feet of the closest point of any residence built, or hereafter built within the city; except those animals as are exempted in ยง 90.17 and 90.18 of this chapter. Chapter 90.03 states regarding NOISE DISTURBANCE AND PUBLIC NUISANCE: No owner, harborer or person having the custody, control or possession of any dog shall permit such dog to disturb the peace and quiet of the neighborhood by reason of its howling, barking and whining, the stench they cause, unsanitary conditions in which they are kept, or its disturbance of people in the reasonable use and enjoyment of property where any of these factors cause annoyance, discomfort or injury to the health and welfare of persons in the neighborhood. This ordinance doesn\\\'t state you can\\\'t have roosters but keeping a rooster will eventually aid in breaking the noise nuisance, due to its\\\' crowing.
