    Hello,
My name is Johnathan and I live in North kansas City. For the last three years my wife and I have been transforming our backyard into a place to grow our own produce. It started with three raised garden beds the first year. The second year we put in the Greenhouse, and this year we are starting to raise our own chickens. We haven't gotten the chickens yet, but we plan to get four Plymoth Rock chicks later this summer. Here are some picture I Would like to share.

I had some private messages about the greenhouse and our setup so here are some other pictures. The last picture is what happens when you go away for two weeks and you accidently overplanted. You live and you learn. The rain barrel is just a 55 gallon barrel converted. We grow, Tomatos, lettuce, squash, zuchini, watermelon, carrots, onions, potatoes, asparaghus(sp?), yellow, red, and green bell peppers, sunflowers, and corn. We do have a 3' x 3' wooden compost next to the greenhouse in the back.
