The dad to all the mutts so far, I don't know what breed he is but he was one get cockerel, he was actually a stray that hopped the fence and decided to stay, i think it's because we got rid of his worms and lice problem lol.

His first daughter (don't no who was her mother) But it might of been a light sussex, I named her Dottie

This is junior, dottie's hatchmate (half brother), mam would of been a production red, we found a lovely home with his own flock of girls

Next the five chicks my broody silkie hatched out, she had a egg already brooding (white silkie at the back)

The white silkie now looks like this

The "welsummer" took after his mam (welsummer x cream crested legbar) now looks like this, the yellow chick from the same hatch is also in the pic along with the dark red hen with the black tipped tail, the lighter cockerel got rehomed

This is all I've hatched out so far as I sold my silkies so no longer have broodies, I will however try and hatch some chicks in my 6 egg incubator.

A few updated pictures, Joey the cockerel is starting to get his tail back after it was plucked (3/11/10)
