So... Let me preface this unveiling, with the fact that I have no previous building experience; save for putting up some shelves. I am new to chickens, and I live in the city with a about a 500 sq ft back yard. Miami is extremely hot in the Summer. It's been 89 since February here. It's taken me about a month, because it's only me working on it and with teaching full-time and working on my doctorate in the evenings, I have been left with weekend days to work on it. The coop may not win any beauty contests, but ventilation was a huge issue and I wanted to make sure there was enough. I still need to paint some minor details on the egg box/ front porch, and add the run, but will add photos when I finish this weekend. The pics should come in waves as I load them up.
