Hi. I have a mixed flock of 5 chickens, and i would like to share my Goldeys (or golden laced wyandottes) with byc.
Ohstahrah- pronounced Oh-star-ah

Ohstahrah, or Ohstee as I call her, is full of energy. She is one of the first chickens people notice when they see the flock, and her plumage gets lovely comments from everyone. Her floofy feathers are compact and cute, and she is always keeping it clean and pretty. She is often seen foraging with Hazel and/or Digger. Her eggs are long and pointy, with a light brown/ pink color.
Hazel:

Hazel is a big girl, full of spunk and a no-nonsense personality. She is super duper uber broody. Being the largest chicken in the flock, she towers over the others. I think she drank some miracle grow when she was a chick. Surprisingly, she loves taking a dip in shallow water occasionally. her eggs are dark brown and very thin and torpedo like.
One question- does anyone know why hazels feathers are double laced, and is it common?
