My Guinea Adventure!

We moved to Kansas in the late Spring of 2014. There were unreal amounts of ticks here. So we researched and decided to add Guinea. It is certainly not a fast process but it has been fun and I now have the best coop thank to my Husband and his buddy! I am lucky!

Babies arrived the first week in August! We also had just gotten a puppy! Crazy summer.

My oldest dog would guard the babies. She would just sit next to their brooder!

NICE JOB! Loved the little guy's smile :) Seeing our grandsons play with the chickens makes me smile. Your feather babies will return when you let them out. I felt the same way but they are use to the new coop and should come back with no problem.

Thanks! I just said to my husband that I am afraid to let them out. They have been in the coop for two weeks and seems so young (at 6 weeks). I probably will never let them out! :) I do like to sit in there and just watch them.

Great Coop!! Now if you can just teach the Guineas to use it!

Mine prefer the roof to the roosts
