This is Owlie. I had no idea what she was when i picked her out of the bin, but she looked like a lil owl to me and has always been one of my favorites. Of course now I know she's an Arecauna (sp) and she lays beautiful green eggs, What a surprise!!!
These are my country chickens ( so I call them). I had to travel north to pick them up. The little one hiding her face is Dizzela, Aptly named because she's a little dizzy. Although she has grown bigger she is dizzier than ever. Sitting next to her is Scrooge. Had i known he would grow into such a handsome boy I would have named him differently (oh well).
Sitting next to the fence and hiding as well is Lady. She turned out to be a fantastic Mother.
