Hi there! I've been with BYC for awhile, and just found out how to make a member page! Whoopee!
I've owned chickens for five years. So much has happened in my life since I got them, it's a long story. Maybe someday I'll tell it on here, but for now I've got about 20. Two coops, my standard flock, and then my bantam flock.
My standard flock consists of 3 Buckeye hens (Zippy, Renée, and Scarlet), 1 Buff Orpington (Beatrice), 1 Light Brahma (Ramona), 1 Turken (Helga), 1 Blue Cochin (Claudia), 1/2 Turken 1/2 EE (Ugly Olga), 1/2 EE 1/4 Brahma 1/4 BO (Alice), 1/2 EE 1/2 Buckeye (Raisins), last but not least 2 Buckeye Roo's father and son. Father is named Legs, and son is Chicken strips.

And pretty Claudia is the blue one.
My bantam coop consists of 5 hens and a roo. Isadora (Izzy) is an OEGB I bought for $5 at a flea market. Ethel is a Bantam partridge Wyandotte given to me by a friend getting out of 4H. Izzy and Ethel both have daughters, sired by Elvis who recently got turned into broth.
He was OEGB and Black tailed Jap bantam cross. Really good roo. Shouldn't have killed him. :/ I hate regrets, don't you? They weigh on me and almost crush me to death. If it weren't for Jesus I'd be in either the gutter or jail.
So Ethel and Izzy's daughters don't have names. But they're cute. Last is my Millie Fleur D'uccle, Millie. Sweet little gal. The roo is a black silkie named - Henry!

And...I breed Nigerian Dwarf goats!
This year we had five does kid. Trixie, Tumbelina, Betsy, Maribel, and Elspeth.
Trixie had Lummy, who we are keeping due to her health and length of body.

I love her face. Betsy and El are her daughters from last year, and Betsy got her face shape.
Little Lummy the lemon. She will sit on your lap all day and nibble on your coat lapels.
Betsy, Trix's daughter had two this year (first freshening) 1 buckling, 1 doeling.
Trixie watched the birth and was "inspecting."
Utter cuteness...
I have no pics of Elspeths birth b/c it was highly stressful. First freshening and she had triplets.
First doeling came out fine, other two were twisted together. :/ Managed to rearrange, but man, I was fortunate no one died.
