I'm 31. I have the BEST husband ever. He's "Farmer Brown". We celebrated 10 years of marriage in Nov of '08. We have 2 beautiful children ages 9 and 8. The weirdest medical crap always happens to me! I have had 3, count them 3 brain surgeries. Had/have AVM (arteriovenous malformation)and CCM (cerebral cavernous malformation). Any tiny bit that got left in the brain can grow, then they rupture and bleed. Brain surgery sucks! I somehow broke the sesamoid bones in one of my feet. They are these 2 tiny bones in the ball of your foot. Have NO idea how I broke them. They went avascular, meaning they died and started breaking down, so I had to have 2 separate surgeries to remove them. Foot surgery sucks!
I have become a chicken addict. I had no idea how much I would fall in love with them.

We had our first chicken die on Saturday night. She was a beautiful BO. Her name was Buffy. She was about 18 months old. We only had her for a little over 2 weeks. She was acting strange (laying solo under the coop all day). I brought her inside just before dinner and wrapped her in a towel to warm her. Less than 2 hours later, she died. No idea why! It was really sad. The kids and I were crying a lot! It was our first "pet" to die. I'm thankful that it wasn't any of our dogs or cats that we've had for 5-7 years.
