Our Coop: We pretty much took our old shed and replaced the roof. Then added 2 windows, and took the old dog run and turned it into the chicken run! We also took some cheap plastic chicken wire and tomatoe stakes and made a run for when we're home. They get a lot of ourside time now. We recieved a box metal nesting box from an old neighbors coop and made some wonderful little roosts for them. Boy these birds are spoiled!
The coop: we have the shed and attatched dog coop for day time protection when we are not home. When we are home the chickens get the run of the cheapo fence we made. We bought tomato stakes and plastic fencing. This is just to keep them where they are supposed to be and not in the neighbors yard.
