Of course profit and greed are two of my main reasons for doing this.
Though it might take a few more years until the price wears down a bit. The newest shamo breed is the parrot shamo although its been around for 20 years or so their eggs are still very expensive reaching an approximate price of 100$ per fertile egg, that is if they will even ship it to begin with.
Now imagine how much a horned breed of shamo could cost. Worse part is people don’t sell things online back here but I’ll upload the auction videos after mid or end 2025. The approximate worth of the first pair is around 50,000$ minimum. So by 2030 - 2040 you might get access to it. The problem with new exotic breeds is that not only do they tend to be very expensive, but also the fact that many don’t sell them online, or the fact that the first foreigners to come buy some to breed for profit will most likely inbreed them causing major genetic quality issues.

Update: generation 1 results. This pullet exhibits early signs of the horn growth. It will take more time to determine the length of the fully grown Gen1 horn.
