Additional Informationhttp://www.northlittlerock.ar.gov/pdfs/Updated NLR Municipal Code/CHAPTER 2 - ANIMAL CONTROL (Adopted 6-8-09, Ord. 8180).pdf---- Ordinances 7.1.1 to 7.1.6 pertain to fowl. This is a new set of ordinances that were passed in July 2009 and are up to date, what is on municode.com is way out of date, it is the ordinances from 1980. Main points: Animal Control must inspect your property and approve you for a permit. Permit is $10 per year, paid before July 1st each year. No Roosters. No fowl can \\\"run at large\\\" (read: must be fenced in). Coop 75\\\' from all dwellings (except your own). No \\\"odors\\\" permitted. Coop must me cleaned and disinfected every every 24 hours. Dropping must be buried at least 6\\\" deep not less than every 48 hours. Some of these are just plain silly, but it is technically \\\"THE LAW\\\".
