Additional Information | 2.05.20.01 Animals and Fowl. Animals and fowl, excluding household pets, may be kept in residential districts subject to conditions as may be provided by the planning and zoning board in a grant of exception to protect the public health, safety, or general welfare. Such applications for an exception for the keeping of existing nondomestic animals shall be waived of the fee, notice of public hearing and published notice requirements of this ordinance. However, the zoning administration department shall post signs on the appropriate land not less than fifteen (15) days in advance of the scheduled public hearing at which such application is to be considered. |
