    Our Open Air Chicken Tractor
Our chicken tractor is 8' x 6'. It is 4' tall in the back, and 3 1/2' tall in the front.
It has a door on the side and one on the front. It also has a small door in the back to get the eggs from the nest box.
There are 2 roosts and 1 nest box inside. The tin for the roof is cut at 5 1/2' long. We used 10" wheels on the back to make it easy to move.
We use it for younger chickens and also to quarantine, or just about anything. It has alot of uses.

I love this design, easy to move , has everything needed to have happy hens , I’d never use chicken wire only hardware cloth but we all have our own budgets.

    Great job

    "Nice Tractor"

The article lacks some detail, but the pictures make up for it. I would love more dimensional information. All-in-all a very versatile tractor. Just one side note: I built my first generation of tractors with chicken wire and hot wires. My second generation will have hardware cloth and the lids will have 2x4 welded wire under the hardware cloth after the coons busted in and took my birds.
