We now have 7! More to come as I see their personalites. How do you change the title? At the end of July we got our first two hens: Lacey, our speckled sussex. She is at the top of the pecking order and a great leader!

We also got Lilly, our blue laced red wyandotte. She is friends with everyone, and doesn't believe in a pecking order

Two days later, we got Maizie, our I.S.A brown. She thinks she is at the top of the pecking order.She can be stubborn, and angry to Juliet when she wants too
and Molly, our Barnavelder. Who is very scared of the other chickens except Juliet. She is in 5th place in the pecking order.
A few months later we got Juliet, our silver penciled plymouth rock (say that three times fast!). she is the 4th hen in the pecking order, when we first got her we didn't know that you couldn't put new hens in the flock. The all the others would give her a little peck, all except Maizie, who flew at her, chased her, jumped on her and pulled her neck feathers...whoops. She is friends with the other hens now, and almost all is well in the happy chicken world.
We now have Daisy our Rhode Island Red and Delilah our Brown Leghorn or Welsummer (still not sure) Daisy hyperventilates when she sees me and Delilah is very flighty but I love them even still. Delilah hates the snow, she'll come out onto the ramp and then fly to the roost so she doesn't touch the snow on the ground. All of them are now happy, plump, and funny hens.

We will soon be getting a Brown Leghorn, and a good egg laying breed. If there are any good ways to introduce hens together, then please tell!
