Here is the first run/ coop we built. We started on a Saturday morning and finished all but the painting by Sunday night. Now I will be the first to admit that we made some mistakes and went over our budget but it has worked out great and everyone seems to enjoy it. It is 14ft long, and 10 ft wide. My husband built 3 nesting boxes on each side. There is a large door in the back that opens for cleaning and 6 roosting bars. We went with chicken wire instead of hardware cloth on the run because we had 5 rolls left over. But we did lay hardware cloth down under our frame. We attached solar lights around the corners to allow the bunny and duck some light durning the evening. The 6 hens, 1 rooster, duck and bunny all live together in peace. And our kids enjoyed painting it.[IMG]
