Some new pics of my "Pesky polands" :D
I love the polish breed of chicken, they are very quirky characters but lots if fun to keep. I've been breeding and keeping them a few years now and they just get better and better. I have tamed them from being small chicks and they have made fabulous lap chickens. I also enjoy incubating and hatching them, nothing quite like watching them hatch from the egg! Here are a few pics of my birds past and present.

Bash my blue splash. I have since rehomed him as I wanted to go in a different direction with the colour of my chicks. I was very fortunate to be able to find him a new home with a friend down the road. She loves him to bits and his new home is just fabulous. I was very fortunate in finding him this home.

Snowy my frizzle silver lace, I hatched him out and he was a fabulous boy. I have also rehomed him to a lovely lady who came quite a way to collect him. She sends regular updates on him which is very nice of her.

Poppet my most precious young cockerel who I unfortunately lost due to wry neck. He has a very special place in my heart and always will.

This is my frizzle polish that actually went broody! They are not a breed that's known for being regular broodies so I was very lucky to have her. Having never had a broody before it was quite an experience and fantastic to watch her raise her chicks. She was a fabulous mother to them and did it all right. Having always been an incubator hatch it was fantastic to watch things being done naturally.
